Today we got into our co-operative groups, came up with a group name and had collaborative conversations about what we can make for the up-coming Expo. We had lots of great ideas!

Tent Construction!
On Friday, as part of our structures unit, each class in Team 2 put up tents. We learnt lots about what makes a structure and what happens if a part is missing.
We had some awesome photographers from Rokeby/Mitcham who took lots of pictures.
That's not how you put up a tent Mrs P!!
Finding a good spot
Something is missing...
Max, Lola, May and Rylan getting the poles ready.
Our finished product
Mrs Furndorflers tent doesn't quite look like ours...
We could even squish both classes into the tent!

Keyring words
The children in Rokeby/Mitcham have been recently tested on the keyring words to give us an indication of what they know well, and what they need a bit more practice with.
Some keyring words have been sent home today and the rest will be sent home tomorrow once we complete the last of the testing.
Some of the words have stickers on them, these are the words the children didn't instantly recall, or didn't know during testing. If all of the words on the keyring could be practised, especially the ones with stickers that would be fantastic!
I hope everyone is enjoying the nice weather and thank you for checking out our blog!

Where did we go and what did we do?
Come in and check out all of our amazing story writing we have done about where we went and what we did in the holidays!
Toilet Paper game!
During our first week of school we got to know each other by taking as much toilet paper as we wanted... and then saying a fact about ourselves for each square! Some people had lots of facts!
